Sorted Before The Cold Sets In.
A wood heater works hardest through a Perth winter, and the flue is the part nobody sees. We sweep wood heater flues so your fire is ready when you need it.
It pairs well with a roof visit. Ask about adding a sweep when you book, or get in touch and we will sort a time that suits.
Why A Flue Needs Sweeping
Every fire leaves something behind. Soot and creosote coat the inside of the flue a little more each time you burn, and damp or green wood makes it worse.
A narrowed flue draws poorly, so the fire is harder to light and smoke has less room to escape. Creosote is also flammable, which makes a build-up a fire risk, not just a nuisance.
Signs It’s Time For A Sweep.
Smoke In The Room
Smoke drifts back into the room when you open the heater door.
Slow To Get Going
The fire is harder to light, or it will not draw the way it used to.
A Smoky Smell
A strong smell hangs around the heater, even when it is not running.
A Full Season Of Use
It has been a whole winter or more since the flue was last swept.

What Our Customers Say.
I'm so pleased with having Mick clean my solar panels. It's something I wish I'd done sooner, as I suspected they weren't performing at their best.
Production went up 1.8 kwh per day, which was their expected output.
Not to forget he's a nice helpful bloke with loads of knowledge and experience. I'll have him back in a year to do them again. I'm highly recommending him.
I found Mick in the little Aussie directory and I’m so glad I did. Mick came out the same day and cleaned my panels and even shared the before and after photos my panels have never looked so good! A few days later Mick came back and tackled my gutters which is a big job in it’s self as my house is next to massive trees on council land. I highly recommend Mick and his family owned business for their efficient and professionalism which I will be using every 6 months for years to come one very happy customer!
Fantastic service and quality work. I had my solar panels bird proofed and cleaned. Thanks Eco Solar panel cleaning
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Very happy with the service! They turned up on time, kept me updated, and did such a great job – my panels look so much cleaner now. Super easy to deal with and very friendly. Would definitely recommend to anyone in Byford needing their panels cleaned. Booked next year already!! Thanks guys ☺️
Having a tree in close proximity to the house means my panels are constantly getting hit with bird droppings not to mention just everyday dirt and grime. The guys from Eco arrived on time and the panels were looking like new once they had finished and for a very reasonable price. Highly recommended 👌.
Mike does a fantastic job keeping my Solar panels and gutters cleaned out on both my home and commercial unit great family business highly recommend

Chimney Sweep Questions.
How Often Should A Wood Heater Flue Be Swept?
Most wood heater guidance says at least once a year if you use the heater regularly. Heavy use, or burning damp or green wood, builds up creosote faster.
When Is The Best Time To Book?
Before the cold sets in. A sweep ahead of the first fire of the season means the heater is ready the day you need it.
Can You Sweep The Flue In The Same Visit As My Solar Or Gutter Clean?
Yes. Ask about adding a sweep when you book and we will line it all up for the one visit.
Can You Keep Birds Off My Chimney?
Yes. We install bird spikes on chimneys and antennas as part of our bird proofing service.
What Areas Do You Cover?
We cover the Perth metro area. Quotes are free, and a seniors discount is available.
